Project Overview:
This Guildford garden project focused on giving an existing rear patio a complete refresh. The old paving had become dated, and the client wanted to create a larger, more attractive outdoor space that felt better suited to the garden.
What They Wanted
The client approached AS Landscapes to upgrade their existing rear garden patio. The original paving needed to be lifted and replaced, while the patio itself was to be extended to create a more generous and practical area for outdoor use.
They also wanted the raised bed at the end of the patio to be clad, helping it tie in with the new design and giving the whole space a more considered, finished appearance.
What Work We Did
The client had gathered a number of inspirational images using ChatGPT, which gave our team a very clear understanding of the style and overall look they wanted to achieve. We worked with them to refine those ideas and agree on the final design before starting the build.
Our team lifted the existing patio, extended the paved area and laid new limestone paving supplied by Kebur.
We also clad the raised bed at the end of the patio, creating a cohesive finish across the whole space.
The result is a cleaner, more contemporary patio with additional usable space and a natural limestone finish that complements the surrounding garden.
