Project Overview:

We recently completed a garden transformation for a client in Windsor, Surrey, focused on bringing her outdoor pool area and patio up to the same high standard as the rest of the garden.

Working closely with The Garden Alchemist on the planting and design side, our team delivered a new raised patio, fresh turf, and a stepping stone pathway that ties the whole space together.

What They Wanted

The Client wanted to upgrade her outdoor pool area and surrounding patio. She also wanted new turf and some stepping stones.

The brief was all about creating a more cohesive, low-maintenance outdoor space that complemented the pool without competing with it. A tired patio and worn turf meant the area wasn’t being used as much as it could be, so refreshing these elements was the priority before any further planting work could begin.

What Work We Did

Working alongside The Garden Alchemist, Dan designed a new raised patio area with porcelain paving, including steps down onto the lawn and stepping stones to take you down to the end of the garden.

Porcelain paving was chosen for its durability and low-maintenance finish, ideal for a poolside setting where practicality matters as much as appearance. The raised patio helped define the seating area next to the pool, with a set of steps leading down onto the newly turfed lawn.

A run of stepping stones was then added to create a natural route through to the far end of the garden, giving the whole space a clear sense of flow from one area to the next.
